if your on a budget then thats a pretty solid price. but if you can find something maybe a little bit newer(thats an early 04) than that would be ideal. You should look for a 5 speed auto or a 6 speed manual. if you go with the 4 speed your mpg wont be as high as a 5 or 6.
but like i said if you dont wanna pay over 10k then it seems good to me. Just keep your eyes open for a 5-6 speed max. Maybe an se, idk...

Price is not bad at all but the 4spd's have been known to have issues, and that dealer has been known to have "hidden" fee's or have to finance thru them at high rate etc. Go look see if there is a catch, drive the car and see what type of warranty they offering. Not every 4spd transmission has issues but of the transmission problems our cars have had a majority of them were the 4spd's.

I live in Brooklyn and the majority of the people that I know who bought Maximas from there have been very unhappy. Of course every experience is different, but when you have over 10 maxima owners who have been unhappy, you should be alert. If you're interested in reading what NYC people have said, you can click the links below.

Just sharing what I know. Hope it helps.

not bad for the price...during my search down here(VA) I saw one very similar a 04 auto with 80kmiles for 11,000. I thought that was too high, though it was fully loaded with nav

I'm reading this hoping that if a dealer is asking 9,995 for an '04 with that many miles, I should be able to get a nice chunk for my '04 with 1/2 that many miles and 5A.

Like others have said i'd stay away. Just because of what i've been through with Nissan and my brakes/suspension. That car has given me a major headache and i'm finally going to toss it for a G35.

i purchased mine off a private owner. for 2 reason's i meet the owner! you can tell if they are a racer or whatever beat on their car's. and 2nd you get a better deal price wise.

i met my owner he purchased all options except navi. didn't beat on the car bc he was older had a family only drove it up state and to the LIRR. took the car to dealer for EVERYTHING and showed EVERY reciept. so somethings to thing of everyone at a dealer is gona say in NY "oh this is highway mileage" but in all maxima is a great car and will last 200k just look around and know what you want and your price and stick to it . they will lower for you if they are trying to sell the car! gl

The price is nice but the 04 may let you down in the long run

not the 04!! keep shopping... 90k is alot for that price... it's a good deal but it's not... if you know what i mean... its nice to have a new looking car but 04's are known for there problems... i think the 1st year of every new body style has problems... idk just my opinion plus... i bought cars from brooklyn myself and they do get beat on. just a factor to look at...
