directional headlights stopped working

The headlights on my 07 are continuously pointing to the right. It happened at the same time my foglights stopped working. I checked the fuses and found that the fuse for the foglights was popped. Does anyone know where the fuse for the motor for the headlights is?
Thanks.

I didn't know that the 07 had directional headlights. I wonder why the 08 doesn't have them.

Yeah, that's where I found the fuse for the foglights. Although, there were a few that I don't know what they were for. I guess I'll check some of those. Thanks.

I don't know. Do you have an SE or SL? Maybe that makes a difference. I could do without them. All these little gadgets here and there are just more things that can go wrong.

Are you having a problem with the cornering lights or specifically that your headlamps are pointing in the wrong direction?

On that matter, does anyone have a fuse diagram for the passenger-side fuse box?

I really think you are talking about the cornering lights because i have never heard of directional headlights on a maxima. Anyway. if you have directional headlights and dont like them ill be more then happy to take them of your hands.

They are the directional headlights. I found that out when the wife got in a wreck. Damn things are expensive as hell! I'm really surprised noone else has heard of them.

I guess yours are in the headlight housing as opposed to mine on the bumper?

I'm not sure, but maybe my terminology is causing confusion. I didn't know what to call them so I made up my own term. Just to clarify, by directional headlights, I mean the headlights turn the same direction as the steering wheel. The headlights have a motor on the bottom of them that turns the beams.

there are two fuse boxes under the hood. One by the battery and the other is on the passenger side next to the engine. You should be able to tell they both have black covers. I will post a pic later if I get the chance. Also if they popped they probably will do it again.

Maxima's do not have AFS (adaptive front light systems....or as you put it, directional) motors on the projectors. Someone has lied to you if they told you that you have them. There are no e55 projectors with AFS motors. If your lights are pointing too far to the right, I'd suspect that the bulbs may not be seated properly.

people should stop making stuff up.

PROJECTION headlights yes.

Nissan directional? NO

you saw a motor??? they may need adjusted, but I never read anywhere that a maxima has directional lights.
if you would have simply called a dealer to have warranty work on your "directional headlights" you would find out the truth and what's actually wrong.

The "motor" that he saw was most likely the bi-xenon solenoid.

I apologize if it sounded like I was making this up to have fun or whatever. I guess the bodyshop guy lied to me. He did show me something on the bottom of the headlight which had a wire harness coming out of it. However, I did not inspect it to confirm that he was telling the truth because he really had no reason to lie to me. I hate dealerships. They seem to lie more than anyone else.

My bad dude. That's how I felt when I was under the impression they weren't working. All this time, I've been looking for a fuse that doesn't even exist.
This thread has been quite embarassing for me.

You shouldnt feel bad or stupid to ask a question because then we wouldn't have forums. Even one has dumb questions everynow and then. At least you know what they are called now.

True, if I hadn't found these forums, and asked a bunch of dumb questions, my car would pretty much be stock!!! (now I'm off to the grammar forum...)
