New Rims!!! g35 18's on Mich PS2's.. !PIX!

Well, my good friend hurley AKA "Coolamx05" Drove up to cali a few days ago from arizona...

he just got the 19in 09 maxima rims so he needed to get rid of his old nasty g35 rims LOL...

They are in PERFECT SHAPE!!! I GOT A STEAL FOR SURE!!!

Anyway...

They are the 18in G35coupe rims wrapped in Mich PS2 tires... tire size is 255/40/18

My car IS lowered... but looks like it not hahah...

Im on H&R springs which are the smallest drop offered for our 6th gens..

Im going to get progressive springs very soon...

its going to look 100% better when its lower, but its so clean and classy..

Since i have shifted my focus to full performance now, i felt i had to get rid of my TSW 20in rims..

The car feels SOOOOOOOOoo responsive... it rides 100% better... handling is AMAZING...

Im sooooooo happy!!!

I might get them powdercoated similar to the k11 smoke color on my car... but for now they stay...

Anyway... THANKS AGAIN HURLEY!!! yu really hoooked it up CHEAP!

Enjoy the pix everyone!! I put a few in my my hood... new grill... new emblem... and lights..

GOOOOOOOOOOOO TROJANS!!!!

P.s. ... he also gave me the "nissan" Center caps at no charge!

If you heard what i payed your mouth would drop hahah

Keep in mind the PS2's are around 285-300 a tire from tire rack.com

so tires alone are like 1200 or so... plus the g rims.. they is ONE VERY SMALL nick ... nothing bad at all.. No curb rash.. nothing...

prob a 1800 dollar set if not more... but my man hooked it up HUGE

tires have 85-90% left...

Hey J,

Car looks great man--and I'm sure performs even better. Thanks for dinner. Very nice to see you again Bro. Glad you're happy. Like I said about the PS2's...quiet, smooth, freakin' handle off the hook, amazing in the rain, and are super responsive and light weight. Now enjoy but somehow stay out of trouble. Those headers are going to put you over the top.

It's kind of sad that I don't have any real pictures of my car when modded. I just have pictures of some of the mods in progress of install, but no real photo shoots

I had Progress springs.

looks good! i just threw on a set of the same wheels powdercoated prismatic gold. they sit much more flush than my other 18s, i love it. with the g35 wheels + progress springs + a worn passenger rear shock, it rubbed with bumps and obviously even worse with a load in the rear.

Looks great Justin. I say go for the K11 powdercoat on the rims or even black chrome. Get those Progress springs and your car will be ready for the power of the headers.

Looks great Justin...

The progress springs arent gonna make as much difference as the right size tires would.

45 series came stock.

Theres just under an inch difference in sidewall between a 40 and a 45. (40 being shorter)

No disrespect KC, but in my opinion and tire calculators, Eibach or Progress springs will make more of a difference than going from 255/40's to 245/45's.

First off, the "sidewall" is only .3 inches shorter. I have had both Eibach's and progress and the front drop seems to be the same between the two after they settle--about 2 inches.

The H&R's are listed as a 1.5 inch drop, and they seem to barely settle to that. Furthermore, on the H&R's the drop in the rear is more than the Eibachs and Progress. Now, the .3 inches shorter is obviously around the entire circumfrence of the tire, but even times two isn't just under a inch.

Again, no disrespect, just math. Try using this calculator. It's a nice one... http://www.rims-n-tires.com/rt_specs.jsp----------->or this one....http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

H&R springs are pretty sag resistant, plus the smaller offset/wider rim will make the gap looks larger as the wheel is more flushed with the fender.

Mmmm headers

I like the black chrome idea, just curioues if that will make teh rims look like they are 16's...

Know of a place in LA that does powdercoating at a nice price?
