lol, i had no clue what he meant by that hobbit comment, i never saw that movie, wasn't really into that genre of movies.
looking at my feet now, they aren't as bad as the pix portray them. im thinking the shadowing effect makes them look dark like that. oh well, lol.
Try the magnaflows 14864 if you want close to stock... just remember that they are loud.

good news guys, the install went smoothly with a minor hiccup which took an extra 15 min to fix, but all in all, excellent fitament, nice sounding [not ricer at all!]
when you turn the car on, it makes a nice low rumble. at idle, barely audible. cruising with less than 30% throttle, barely audible. its mainly when you get on it, it comes to life. we drove around for a few min to warm the exhaust up [car was driven a while b4 so it was relatively warmed] and check everything for peace of mind.
afterwards, took some back roads and got on it. after 4k -> 6.5k it was a beast!

when ive been crusing around, ive had this big grin on my face, lol. i even turned the system down! at first, i was plannin on cuttin these mufflers off and welding on the oem ones, but these do not sound bad at all. imo, this exhaust looks better on the 07-08 because the rear diffuser makes it look just right even though its biased to one side. soemthing about the 04-06 made it not look just right. dunno but im lovin it, lol!!
ill get some sound clips and better daylight pix after i wash the car up. my friend has a digital recorder which she said i could borrow. but she doesnt know im goin to ask to borrow her too to stand on the side while i do a drive by, hehe!!

its been a while, lol. ill try and see what i can come up for you guys! got midterms coming up this week. with the exception of the exhaust leak from a gasket [have it, just no time to install it yet] it sounds beast when you get on it. at idle or cruising, cant tell that i have an exhaust!
