Steering noise when stationary

Ok here is the deal: There is a loud noise when I turn the steering wheel quickly when stopped. I dont know if its the steering rack (it has been replaced) or anything else. It is a noticeable noise when turning the wheel...only when stopped. Its not the struts or mounts as the noise is coming more internal. Any thoughts or concerns?

if its a knocking noise that only happens when u jerk the wheel left and right while being stopped then yes its ur steering rack. i had to take my 08 two times to the dealer to get this fixed

Plenty, but not hard to to turn, just a noise in either direction

I don't know. I'm just throwing it out there. I have the eibach creeking but nothing to worry about. I checked the seating and everything looks fine. A spring is a spring. Maybe there are isolated cases with the progress product. Weather (moisture, etc.) can be a factor too.

Maybe I should get mine checked since it does the same thing. I could be wrong about my noise being the strut spring. Hmmmm...

OK not the endlinks. Seems like when Im coming to a stop that the passenger side brake on rotor is making a clunking noise. Not a squeal. Any thoughts...its not the steering as I thought before. Ill have the car up saturday, hopefully something is loose. Noise not there when stopped and braking but can come when I turn the wheel only on the passenger side.
