rear shock stud/bolt

hey guys i need a little help
hoping there are any nissan techs or service writers
so i recently took my coilovers off to put my stock suspension back on
when i went to tighten the rear shock on the pass. side, i accidently snapped one of the 2
studs on the body of the car.
i am still under 30k so still under warrenty i was wondering if i took my car to the dealership adn tell them i started hearing a noise and when i checked my rear shocks one of the studs was not there.
do u think it would be covered under warrenty and i wouldnt have ne problems
i even tried to take out the left over stud but notthing worked no air hammer no punch no chisel no nothing it looks like a wheel stud only smaller and it also seems as if its welded

any help is appreciated

If you're under warranty you may as well try. Just make sure you take the entire coil-over kit off before you go in there...

it's a stud. you broke it, why not pay for a new one?

yet we wonder why dealers give people a hard time on actual warranty issues. yeah some just don't want to, but there are enough people that make it worse.

it wasnt about paying for the part i wouldve paid for a simple stud
however, vehicle was still under warranty and as i picked up the vehicle and ask how much and do i need to sign nething. i was told no ur all set to go. im also not the cheap type as i stated already i wouldve paid for a stud and the labor so i asked what they drink and i will take care of them

For the crazy amount of profit that they make all the time, I think minor incidents like that are alright
