whistling from heater. . .

the heater motor under the glovebox whistles when I have the heat on. I want to WD-40 or oil it but since its the heater blower Im concerned my car while smell like oil for the rest of the winter? Has anyone ran into this problem, and if so, how did you remedy it? I plan on fixing it when I change my in cabin air filter soon. Thanks!

I doubt its the air filter becuase as my max doesnt do it, my corolla does. and the corolla does not have a air filter in it. So seems to me like something needs a little oil or wd40.
