Car looking good. Especially the pic on the street. Very shiny.

It's the clearance that has always had me worried with this kit. I think they are doing a kit that's a little shorter right?

yeap and as a matter of fact we are officially out on the old bumpers, there are 2 new bumpers coming in in about 20 days but those are sold already, , so if anyone is thinking about getting them let me know so I can put you on the list

Presence you are going to be super low, it will look sick but yea depending on how much you lower the car you might have to trim the bumper a bit, can't wait to see the pictures though

I love them, like driving on rails. Ride is harder but since I did not go with low profile tires it's not as harsh. I also live in an area with pretty smooth roads so I wouldn't necessarily recommend them if you live in an area with ****ty streets...

Understood. That's the only reason I went with coilover recently.
Depending on where you drive here in Florida...well in Central Florida
the roads are very good. Nice & Smooth!! Even on rough terrains
these JIC FLT-TARs feel remarkable "Great Dampening"

Thank you sir!! NiZmo1o1, how did you bottom out man? Better yet where did you bottom out?

The lowest part of that bumper is the sides... no mater how side ways and slow I go I scrap either sides.

Do you have pics of your GTR front bumper on?
And I really appreciated the comments guys.
Also, I'll be fabricating the GTR Front bumper
this weekend. So there will be new pics posted.

So now that you've driven around a little more today, what are going to do? Based on what you said before it seems like you are good with maneuvering around all the potential obstacles of daily driving so you might as well leave it as is I guess.

I just got back from Advance Auto Parts and there was a little
car group up there. The guys where like don't you dare cut that
front bumper. So I'm going to drop it a bit more and drive around
for another week. You know... to see how driving conditions are
@ a lower height.

Mannn...don't worry. I was extremely skeptical @ first about the front GTR bumper.
The best thing to do is inspect the terrains that you drive around on daily. Including
areas that look a little rough and roads you would never drive on unless it was an
absolute emergency. I've driven over some pretty big #&* speed bumps and clear
them with no problem. You can't park over parking curbs... but "Who cares" I didn't
in the first place. Really steep driveways/parking lots aren't a problem as long as
you drive in @ an angle. So, if you think that you'll encounter monster steep drive-
ways, mountain size speed bumps, and 4 to 8 inch manhole covers. DON'T GET THIS FRONT BUMPER"!!! L.o.l!!

Yeah, the headlights are blacked-out.
Took them apart several months ago
and painted the inside. Looks a lot
better!! You should definitely do it...
especially since you have an all black ride.

Hey can you post your pics when you had the kit with your AG Kit springs please? I'm about to buy this kit and want a better look at what it is going to look like. Thanks.

Thanks a lot guys. The wheels are called Dub Bomber 5 and just came out last year of 2008.
I haven't seen any other maxima's with this design wheel on them since I've purchased mine.
They where actually advertising them for a ford mustang and several other makes. But after
doing some research I realized all the specs. matched up perfect for our maxima's. I really like
them a lot but there's another wheel that I'm interested in. So these bad boys will be up for sale
soon "Just the wheels(20x10 +40 off-set)". And there in mint condition!!! OH! The headlights where
done with a really good paint & clear designed for High Temp Plastic & metal surfaces.

Few pics of my maxima when I had AG Springs. As requested, Kronickz!!

I love this kit...I'm not sold on the rear though. I love the side skirts too. Only one problem, the front is so low that I would have to remove the bumper in Winter...and we know that's not possible...Wish someone would make a daily driver kit good enough for people in the north...like up here in Montreal...that front bumper would make a great snow plow! LOL...Beautiful job though!

Presence how did that kit fit? Did you have to do any modification to the front or rear bumper to get them to fit correctly?

I'll chime in since I have the front. The fit is pretty good but you do have to have the bumper prepped prior to paint. Also all the holes need to be drilled out to mount the front...And welcome to the site, thanks for not starting a new thread for this question!
(you're off to a good start!!!)

I think alot of us probably paid a different price for the GTR kit
"here and there". Due to group buys, end of the month sale,
etc..... Go to Ezkoncepts.com for an accurate price for the kit
or just PM max2damax for more details. Also, several of us have
different custom grilles as well. Mine happens to be a slightly modified
E&G grille for the 2004-2006 maxima. Check ebay for great deals on grilles.

Appreciate the compliment man.
I'm getting ready to change a few
things on the maxima. It's a bit of
a secret but I promise to post several
pics once it's complete. This is how it looks curently.

I like the kit, and am considering getting the same kit in the future.
Where did you get the kit? The main things that come to mind for me is, I don't want to lower my car given the roads of where I am. How low did you set it from original ride height? 1" What front grill can you put on instead of the stock, will an 07 grill fit on it? How many holes did you have to drill and where if needed to get the body kit on?

Glad that you like the GTR Kit. I appreciate the compliment 2o4Max.
Ezkoncepts.com is where I purchased my GTR Kit originally. There's
several other places it can be purchased as well. I have my ride
extremely low, well over 2 1/2 inches. Now, there are several cool
grille styles for the 04-06. F.Y.I!!! An 07 grille can't fit onto the 04-06.
You also ask how many holes had to be drilled for the kit to fit and the
answer is not very many, maybe 8 to 10/12. OH!!! An there already marked
on the kit for you. Hope the info helps!!
