How is the ride compared to stock? I did a little searching over at the 6th gen forum and a majority of the folks there are running the Progress springs. My rear suspension is starting to sag pretty bad, and even with no people in the car and an empty trunk, I have no finger gap at all.

I got a little over 65k on my 06. I figured it's time to change them and hop on the Cattman suspension sale.

yeah i hear a lot of people use progress.. i plan to get progress when i get some $$ in ... but for now i still have some finger gaps in the rear ... and a lot in the front LOL ... go for the progress... call Brian Catts. he's the guy you need to tlak to if u are buy springs ...

i had Progress installed on my old 05. There is a difference in ride quality. Especially if you have 20 inch rims.

However i had my progress springs for almost 1 yr before my accident.

no problems with them what so ever. But if you use your stock struts and shocks, expect them to wear out much sooner. Go with the springs and KYB shocks and struts.

It will take 4-5 hours to install and pretty easy.

I had Progress Springs with STOCK OEM shocks on my 05 Max. You don't have to replace your shocks unless you want to. Save yourself the greenback and change them out once blown. I had Progress on for over a year and never blew my shocks/struts.

I loved them. The ride difference was phenominal and quite noticeable. Your handling will improve greatly as you will have less 'float'. Even cornering becomes something you look forward to.
I would recommend the RSB also. The reason I recommend that is because it is a relatively inexpensive yet noticeable addition to your suspension overhaul.

If you don't plan on installing the struts, shocks and springs yourself my best friend is a mechanic and is willing to give you a good deal on labor. He installed mine in a few hours. PM me if you're interested since we both live in Houston.

damn a few hours to install springs on a 6th gen lmao wow most is 2 hrs guys expecially if your staying stock shocks . the rears are the easiest i swear if you spend more than 30min on the rear you should be paying a mechanic to do it unless you fellas are under 3 installs. but after that you should be a pro

a couple of hours for a pro, yeah!

but if this is your first time, it will take much longer. Especially if your by yourself. The install will go by faster and easier if you have someone help you.

Dont worry about the mechanic. There are plenty of write ups here on the org that document how to replace your suspension parts.

I never personally sat on the springs, but I had them installed in my car.

I've had them on my maxima for almost 6 months and am very pleased with them. The drop looks awesome and the handling is improved a lot. The ride isn't harsh either.
