Probably just isn't compatible with Vista, even if you change the compatibility setting.

I have heard of some people not having issues. May have something to do with settings. Saw that on Titan forum.

so a little off subject but what does Cipher do for you? I mean I read the uprev website but besides it being a obd2 reader and a data log what can you do with it. I was thinking about investing in that HPX MAF Sensor and Osiris Tuner. reading about the HPX Sensor it doesn't sound like it comes with any equipment for loading or adjustment of A/F ratio.

What versions of windows have been tested?
Windows 2000, XP, and Vista.

found this in the faqs page for UpRev. I would call them direct if you can't figure it out

The Cipher just plugs in to the ECU port below the steering wheel and monitors sensors and also allows for ajustment of idle and timing (+ or - 2 degrees), so its limited in what it can d. Its not like UTEC or Osiris, or any of the full functioning piggybacks. I use it to pull codes and to adjust timing and idle.

My UpRev works perfectly fine w/ Vista.

The guy doens't take to us Maximas too well, even though the A34 could probably easily use the OSIRUS.

Strange thing is, my WB software doesn't like vista. The software runs fine, but it can never detect the USB connection. My 10 yr old laptop does just fine with it.
