dont know what to do

ok, so tomorrow i am officially going to pick up my maxima, and seal the paper work, i dont know if i should buy this aftermarket warranty with it, its from AUL corp. and i have been reading all there guidelines, very confusing , the contract i would be purchasing is the best they offer and supposedly cover EVERYTHING, but as i read it says they will need every maintenance record, and all this crap. etc. etc. so would it be worth it for me to even waste 1300 dollars on this, if there gonna find ways not to fix something, if something breaks?, i just dont know what to do, any one have experience with this company?....any opinions would be great

Winterfaust said that the best warranty is from a company called Fidelity. I have one from them on my non-Nissan car and it is awesome.

Good reason not to mod a Maxima if your worried about voiding a warranty, & only use Nissan transmission fluid/coolant.

i would not worry too much. Ive had my max just under a year and it works as if i drove it for the first time.
As you stated that their are like 100 reasons they would void the warranty and you are worried about it just think of it like this: read the contract and ask yourself if any of those reasons would occur because of you or everyday driving.
For example, if it states that if any aftermarket mods are on the car they will turn you down-> its a fairly normal warranty.
However if it states it will not help you on something that you would come across during everyday driving than yea i would not go with it.

fidelity extended warranties

Go to Google, type in "fidelity extended warranties," and hit Search. You will find a number of complaints about this company on P1 of search results. Better to get a Nissan warranty if you can, or from some other company, based on what I am seeing. Consumer's Reports says extended warranties are usually a waste of money, but I can understand wanting the protection--so shop around and try for the Nissan warranty or one that Nissan dealers accept, which would be another way to approach this. Go to your local dealer and ask them which aftermarket warranties they accept and respect.

alright guys, i bought the max today, and got that warrantee, i talked to them on the phone today for about 3 hours, and it seems like a pretty good warrantee, so if something goes wrong, we will see, the car runs like a top though, very nice!!
