Grinding noise

My '05 is making a grinding noise. The noise gets worse when I hit the brakes or bear to the left, but it will come and go even when driving straight. It goes away as I approach about 45 mph. It sounded like the break pads grinding, so I had them checked out, but the mechanic thinks its a bushing where the body is connected. Anyone run into this? Is it covered under warranty?

Thanks. Much Appreciated.

check your brake pads and your rotors for marks as well.

Thanks NYS, the noise is definitely coming from the front, I wonder if it could be the same problem. I hope it is covered under warranty.

Noise heard when braking!!!

I have an 06 Max I just purchased with 54k miles. When applying the brakes to slow down I start to hear grinding from about 20 mph and til the car stops. Pads look good. Backs are a little worn. I can feel it in the pedal too.

I was having the same problem . I replaced my Hub Bearing Assembly. Everything was fine until last week. Noise came back again . I had it checked by one of my friend. HE said its the tire. My tire tread was uneven. Make sure u have someone check your tire's tread. Let me knw if its helpful
