Got an 05 SE 6 speed about 3 weeks ago with 70,000 miles on it. So far I've only put a Fujita intake on it, but I think the nitrous kit will be installed shortly. I went from having an 04 WRX with an STi turbo, to an 05 Passat diesel (130hp) to the Maxima. It's nice having something kinda quick again.

 

Bought mine beginning of 10/09 at 58k miles and now its approaching 60k miles a month later...also got extended warranty for the next 3 years.

 

Bought my 04 maxima sl brand new back in jan 04 and now got 110k. I'm not very please compared to 2001 maxima se. The 04 has a nice design and all, but the materials is so poorly made. I would not buy another nissan again unless it's made in Japan.

It now has 57000 and the Nissan dealership just put a brand new engine in it yesterday.

 

I have an 04 SE that's getting ready to roll over to 100,000. Like amansour14, my "Service Engine Soon" light is on...it just came on about a week ago and the manual indicates that it could be a loose fuel cap or a problem with the emissions system. I filled up the tank yesterday and made sure the cap was screwed on tightly.

Any suggestions as far as the Service Engine indicator before I schedule a trip to the dealership? (Ugh...my wallet cringes at the thought of that)

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!
I have a 2004 maxima sl, last night i got in my car and when i turned it on i noticed that all the dash lights werent working, the climate control lights up but my settins, cd play and all the top buttons do not, and my corner lights do not light up when i turn my blinkers on, the blinkers do work tho, i checked the fuses and they appear to be fine, if anyone has a problem like this or know the sollution please contact me and let me know how you fixed it. make sure its not your battery.. you might have a bad alternator, or maybe drained battery.

 

i picked up my new 04 max today.. 186,000 miles on it.. the guy lied and sold it to me with 86,000 but i did car fax and caught him.. I had paid $6500 for it.. but now I told him to give me another 1500 back for lying. i'm registering tomorow. I dont know if I should keep it or sell it.. what you guys think?
