Bought my 2006 Maxima in Jan '10 with 73K and now have 89k.

 

2004 maxima bought in feb of this year with 80k

now it has 87k runs perfect !

When I traded my 05 Liquid Silver SL in, it had 52k miles.

 

You didn't buy it in PA by any chance?

 

Nope lol, ontario canada, i think its more of a dark grey/slate colour than silver as well.

 

Bought it with 28,900 back in 2004. Now has 122k. Engine and tranny are running real strong, but the damn paint is flaking bad on the hood.

 

Bought the max like 4 months ago...at 36k now at 40k lol 06

Just picked up my 2005 SE to replace my 2000. The '05 has 43,000 to replace the 00 with 175,000

 

2004 SE running still! Hoping for 200K before I have to move on..

 

2005 SE @93K - still on original valve body (getting hard shifts here and there) replacing valve body soon! Otherwise runs great!

 

1997 Maxima has 246,680 thousand miles, Still going good the timing chain just started to make noise. Im not going to bother to fix it Im just ordering a rebuild engine and tran.

 

My 2004 Maxima has 134K, timing chain rattles and a strut bearing just broke, but that's it, it runs good.

 

Only 31k. Bought it used with 25k

 

Had my 2008 SL since Jan. '08, now has 43,200 miles!

 

My 89SE made it to 275xxx, 90SE got to 235xxx, 97SE got totaled at 230005, ran great btw, and my 98SE currently has 186xxx. This one runs great too, I have never hesitated to drive any of my maximas across country or beat on a honduh guy.

 

Bought mine in April 2011 at 68,500. Now has 70,500.

 

Are the timing chains automatically adjusted on our vehicles or do we have to take it in? Also, what are the symptoms if left as is for a long period of time? Talking about bearings, we have so many bearings under our cars(hard rubber items), how are we supposed to maintain all of these or do we just wait until they crack for repair? Good job with the mileage, I have 106,659 myself.

 

05 with 206k on original spark plugs and belts (all to be replaced within a week). Never been in a shop.

 

I had a pearl white 1995 Max. I gave it to my sister last summer with 290,000 mi. It is currently over 300,000 mi and running fine. Somehow the car requires zero maintenance.

New here but not to Nissans! '04 Max bought new, now has 185,000. Having the spark plugs changed, today for the first time. Burns a quart every 3,500 miles, oil changed every 7,500. Best car I have ever had, bar none, and I have had a lot!

 

My 2000 se has 198,000 on it at present bought it with 149,000, runs great with regular maint. and expected repairs Gave this one to my son

My 2004 sl had 138k on it when purchased, just recently it threw a p1217 code and the temp gauge goes up and down up and down, any suggestions. The hottest it got was 230 on a 92 degree day sitting in the sun with the air on????????
