So my car is dropped 2 inches from the front and .8 from the back and i have a body kit. so i needed to get my car towed but the flat bed truck refused to tow it because it was too low. Anyone know any alternates?? that could get my car towed??

thanks you guys

why do you need it towed?

There are some tow trucks that just go under the front wheels and let the rears roll, that might work instead of having to go up a ramp

I think his transmission is shot. But anyway that would work if they just put it under the front tires, then lift it up.

6x2 wood under front wheels make the ramp not as steep. so no scrubbing. been there done that.

I doubt any of that would work. His car is too low to even lift it w/o scraping. I would suggest you rent an u-haul and extend the ramp to be less steep, and push it up or winch up and tow it to your destination that way.

You're welcome!

same thing applied in the uhaul link can be used on a flatbed. A good tow truck operator should be able to get your car on the flatbed. Taking your bumper off would help allot though.

take off the bumpers(not hard) and or use wood. the tow truck driver is an idiot and or lazy if he can't get your car up the lift.

First off if the tow truck guy doesn't know how to put a lowered car on a flat bed, CALL ANOTHER DRIVER! Like GEC said 2x4's and you are golden!!

I am lower than you on coils and he got it up there...(note 2x4's)

(yes it cleared...)

Driver probably doesnt want to be liable(check spelling). Remove rear bumper and let them roll it. Also some wood should fix this.

I'd have to agree with jsmithsole on this one. If the tow driver cannot get it on the flatbed find another company. I had the same problem about a year and a half ago with my 93 altima. Alot worse than you. My car was sitting on 19's with a cylinder air ride setup all custom which dropped me a tad over 4 inches. I had a 2nd battery runing the setup and it went at a redlight with the car all the way down. Car has a complete body kit as well. So luckily enough for me, I had help froma passing motorist and helped me push it out of the road. I'll admit, it took a few calls but found a company to come out...his reaction "wtf do you want me to do with this?" Luckily he had some 2x4's and a couple 4x6's on his truck. I scraped the exhaust tip (Greddy) just a little and he got it up. They'll have you sign a waiver probably but seriously just have some wood...if I got this on a flat bed, you should have no troubles!
