Some advice.

Just curious what you guys run for tires. I'm currently running Nitto NT555 Extreme 245/34/20ZR but I'm looking to get new Tires (stupid nail :/)

The nittos are kinda noisy and have lousy wet traction (I live in FL, somewhat of a problem for me)

So what would you guys rec for a decent priced tires (under $200 a piece) <--- internet price not retail.

Thanks!

I have rocked Sumitomo's on my 96 in the past HTR-Z's, they are cheap and I find they perform well.

Pete, I've got three of those nittos in my basement probably 85% or better Id love to get rid of.

I had them on another set of wheels I bought and hated them.

I've been running the Sumitomo HTZRII's for years. Excellent tire IMO.

Lemme know if you wanna talk...

I've got Goodyear Eagle GT's on my max. 245-45-18 and they are fabulous. Just got them last month and I was pretty surprised at how quiet they are at high speeds.

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....nSpeedRating=V I had these tires on my last set of rims and they gripped alot better than the ones I have now. I will be buying these again, once I am done with these tires. I currently have Sumitomo HTZR tires. These grip good but ride kinda rough. Feel just about every small bump whereas the ones in the link I had a real smooth ride. As far as tread wear, they are pretty equal. Wet traction is way better with the Continentals. Not horrible, but not great with the Sumitomo's. I recommend getting a quote off the net, from somewhere like www.TIRERACK.com and then printing the ones you want out. Then take the printouts to Discount Tire and have them match or even beat the price. Also don't get them siped. If you drive like I did you will rip chunks out of the tires. Plus not needed in Florida. I also got the lifetime replacement/fix plan which was like $15 extra a tire. I think I spent around $580 out the door. Ohh sorry I got a %10 discount for being in the military.
