Here is a 3-gen version. It's looks good but the mounting bolt pattern for the maf is diff. I think all 4gen-6th gens have a different pattern (that I need). I'm hoping you guy's velocity stack is at least 1"+ tall and have more of a square bolt pattern. vs the more rectangular bolt pattern that the 3-gens have. Thanks

Mine off my '06 is a 4 bolt pattern but its flush with the side of the box. It is not 1" +. How do you post pics on here and not only provide a link?

You upload the picture to something like photobucket of imageshack. Then you post the img...../img code here and it appears.

Sounds like you have the V-stack of the non-rev up VQ35s but I'd like to still see. Does it look like the one on the right or the left? (one on the right is the one I'm looking for. It's hard to see but the V-stack height is almost 1" or more).

Actually if someone could just tell me if their velocity stack looks like the one on the right or left, that would do. Thanks

Is that part of the stock air box in your pic?

Here are the only pics I have that might even come close. I'm still not exactly sure what you are asking for.

It would be inside the stock air box, between the opening where the MAF housing connects to the box and the air filter.

In Jeff's picture in post #6, you can kind of see the MAF probe for the air box on the left, if that gives you a frame of reference.

Good news. Seems to have the the bolt pattern I need

Bad news. Seems to have the same tiny velocity stack I'm trying to avoid!

But thanks much for your help. It does answer some questions

If anyone else with a newer model can chime in, that would be great. If it's the one I need, I'd be willing to purchase that portion of the box for a small fee.

It's from a rev up VQ35 equipped G35 or 350z. Hard to get. I notice that the maximas seem to have the same bolt v-stack bolt pattern (maf bolt pattern). If the VQ35 guys from the 6th or 7th gen had the one on the left and moved into a diff intake, I'd like to have their oem box (although I'd probably have to drill out the rivets and swap just the velocity stacks to fit my older G35)

Have you tried this, lots of airbox assemblies came up when I did a G35 search in the 2000-2004 range!!!

Yeah there's always that but I want to do this on the cheap. From parts that others just want to get rid of.
