The title pretty much says it all. It doesn't matter if I'm in drive or reverse. If I have the steering wheel turned left it'll make a creaking noise as I turn it. Any ideas where to start or what it could be?

 

all points to mounts, or seating of spring.....if you did the mounts, check the bearings and make sure you didnt over torque the shaft nut.

 

I have a similar problem. Everytime when I cut her on in the morning, I hear a slight chiming sound. This also happens when I turn left. I can even feel something scrub when my foot is on the gas pedal as I turn left.

If anyone got any clues to what this is ... I'm all ears.
