Are the 6th gen brakes larger than the 5.5 gen?

I saw a guy that was running 15" V6 mustang wheels on his 5.5 gen, and was wondering if the brakes are larger. That would get rid of this idea real quick

Let me know guys. There are only DOT slicks in 16" sizes. I want a true slick that will fit a 15" wheel.

Thanks!

the front caliper barely clears my 17" winter steel rim. I highly doubt it will clear 16" rims let alone 15".

I could be wrong, but looking at my car, I don't think its possible for less than 17" rims.

6th gen brakes are 12.6" and i think the 5.5s are 11.6. i have 6th gen brakes on my 5.5, its a cheap and very effective upgrade
