Headers will NOT blow anyone's mind. 25whp is hardly enough to notice a difference to be quite honest. I have the whole setup, check my sig, and while my car feels a little faster than stock I won't be challenging any 335i's, G35s or G37s, or IS350s with a 14.7 1/4 mile time.

Then again, I've had my setup for at least 3 years now so...maybe I'm just used to the power.

Nope! The truth is the truth. I think Kevin007 ran a 14.1 with similar mods but he didn't have 20 inch wheels

Still, I don't think anyone(on the .org) with a all motor 6th Gen has broken 13s so I don't feel that bad.

Having said all that I might get some 17inch Enkei RFP1s(15lbs) and the technosquare flash and see what that does. If I still can't get a high 13 after that then my modding days(for the Max) are over.

They did anyway...

2theMaX05, I'd imagine there was measurable weight loss... those stock manifolds were HEAVY... and the cat... which didn't have much life left in her...

I hate to say it but it sounds too rice. When I had my original set up, this is the tone that I wanted to avoid. I think a lower tone sounds a lot nicer since our cars are a bit bigger. But hey, if you get the performance gains from it it's all good.

well i ran a 14.2 a while back on my old crappy goodyear eagles..

that was before i put in my y pipe and pulley and vias block off ...

So im guessing that he is in the 13's for sure... FOR SURE...

And if kevin had headers on his whip he would be pushing 13.7's maybe lower.. hes an amazing driver...

I cant believe u got a 14.7 w/ your mods.. .thats was i ran STOCK!!!!!! LOL

You are trying to say you wont feel 25 whp ???? R u on drugs lol... thats like 34+ /- to the fly... h
If you are having a hard time taking g35's wit your car and mods u got probs man.. get your ride checked out.. or take off those heavy 20's... I used to have some tsw 20s that slowed me down but even then.. i still could take g coupes and sedan that were stock..

14.7 with cai/ex/headers tune LOL come on

OOolla: goto a track and solve this plz! lol

Hate to tell ya, but there's a HUGE difference after I had the headers installed. Just because you can't drive...

ya, there is def something wrong with your car. most stock max's can hit 14.7 depending on weather and driver. I would def take it to a shop and get it tuned by some pros, it just doesnt sound right (the time).

Good point I was just gonna input on this I myself in my 05 6gen auto ran 14.8 with exhaust and intake ,pulley. Im sure with da headers it would set a difference .Havent actually ran my current 6gen but Im sure Itll do better because of headers and its very modded compared to my last one.

Well, we'll see once/if I get those Enkeis and technosquare. I can't believe the low numbers myself but it is what it is. My trunk and backseat was gutted too. And my dyno numbers are consistent with what I have so I know I have a good tune.

sounds a wee bit louder/raspier than stock, otherwise the exhaust note is pretty similar to a SP2 on an otherwise stock car.

btw, take some metal polish to those mufflers!

Damn that sounds pretty sick. I think a bigger resonator might help clean up the rasp a bit more, otherwise it sounds like a mean Z.

Nah I love the rasp! If it really were up to me, and not noise laws in my town, I'd take the res off!

P.S. Yes I know she's filthy... and now it's snowing. I may clean her later this week when it's in the 50s. lol
