Fastbrakes Upgrade Wilwood BBK

Just thought some of you may be interested in this upgrade for your brakes. For the price I say it's a great deal. Of course I purchased my kit a month before this came out so, hey what can you do... Only difference between this kit and the one I bought (or the one Chern has for that matter) is that this one doesn't come with the rotors, which is actually not a bad thing, considering you can get good rotors at great prices.

2002-2007 Maxima 4 piston upgrade $645.00

New upgrade for the 2002-2007 Maxima. Put on these 4 piston calipers and feel the brakes really working. Uses the stock rotors. Kit comes with Superlite 4 piston calipers, Hawk HPS pads, aluminum adapter brackets and the front braided steel brake lines.

This product was added to our catalog on Tuesday 03 March, 2009.

Yeah I did, I was referred there by Chern as well. I can tell you it's a very good product and I think Chern will verify it as well, he's got more experience with this product.

What about the rear? They have a rear kit, but I didn't purchase that kit, don't have money to splurge on that. Not yet atleast.

I didn't state I had stock on the back. I actually have xdrilled and slotted rotors on the rear with Hawk pads. For now, all new.

Most of your stopping power comes from the front , at least 80% of it.

I have z32tt in the front and brembo in the rear

Funny thing is, I was the first on this forum, 2nd on THE PLANET to actually have this kit installed on my car somewhere about three years ago. LOL

I track my car and daily drive it to work. Kits is super reliable and stops on a dime. It took Brian three calipers sets to balance out the bias properly. It was a pain in my **** cause I had to remove, flush, bleed system each time. But the final product was released to the public with the proper sized calipers for just the front upgrade or front/rear upgrade.

Only thing I can recommend is that you go with the plain rotors. I will admit the slotted rotors are great especially in the wet, but they chew brake pads up faster then you can say DAMN!

Enjoy the kit, after three years, I still am.

Kam!!! You're right, I'm sorry, forgot that you also had these. Thanks for chimming in, just thought this was a good deal for people who wanted an upgrade at a good price!

Even without a rotor size upgrade, this is a great upgrade in stopping power (not to mention safety since we have heavy cars). My brakes have worked flawlessly since this upgrade and yes they have a rear upgrade kit as well (I know I have front and rear). And with ABS (which we all have) No rear bias is felt and my car now pretty much stops on a dime!!!

The maxima front and rear Caliper is a single floater design. The Wilwood 4 opposing pistons provide equal amount of brake force to both sides of the rotor increasing grip on the rotor surface and less caliper deflection.

Plus these calipers are also aluminium and greatly reduce unsprung weight.

Regardless, if you get the upgrade size rotors or not, these calipers will be a great improvement in braking power.

Believe me, you get this upgrade plus nice Super Blue Blue brake fluid and your all set.

And with the Wilwood calipers, swapping out brake pads is so damn easy it should be a criminal act!!!
