Nice drop. A few questions:

Did you take measurements before the drop?
What was the final measurement?
Are the Ingalls camber bolts necessary?
Why not just an alignment?
Are you still using the OEM shocks/struts?

With the snow here that would be a bad idea
I've heard that lowering springs on stock shocks = kill the shocks.

You are the first person I know of other than myself that drives an 08 with the S Techs. That's why I asked a lot of questions. Currently I have the springs, KYB shocks/struts, and F/R endlinks by Racingline. My suspension has been crisp and sharp but I currently installed a new RSB by Progress and now my car rails like a **** I should be receiving my FSB by Racingline this Fri. to complete my suspension set up

I did do my own suspension work with a some supervision from my boi.. Next on the agenda is installing a front struct tower bar I ordered yesterday from racinglineperformance.com.. After that, looking towards the audio direction.. Thanks for the compliment on the ryde..

I forgot to take before and after measurements.. however, i do have before and after pictures.. I could tell you off hand that the drop in the rear was pretty much the same and the front was 1.6 and it made the ryde level out and look nice.. The ingalls camber bolts were necessary due to the fact that this is my 3rd maxima.. On my 1st maxima drop I got an alignment and realized that my cambers were still off and I went thru 2 tires due the tire wear being uneven.. The part is only $30.00.. It's worth it.. I am still using oem struts.. I never had a problem with blown struts.. again 3rd maxima.. 3rd drop with tein s-techs..

I'm swapping from Progess to the Tein S Tech's. I am looking forward to see if there is any difference in ride quality ( I hope so) and height drop. I think I do have a camber kit sitting around somewhere, I guess I better find it.

Nice job, Ive had my S-Techs sitting in my garage for about 8 months now and my endlinks for about 3 months now, Never had a chance to have them put in. But this is really getting me to get it in there.

LucKie1nE, Glad to hear that you've had good experiences riding these springs in the past. I didn't want a big drop because I drive 35 miles each way to work. However, I did want to get rid of some gap to make the car look pretty good. These springs and the kybs seem to be the budget conscious answer so I was hoping they were ok. I can only swing the purchase of the front or rear sway bar rt now. Which one is more useful? I want to get as much as I can installed at one time since I'll have help.

I would say go for the front strut tower bar due to the fact that you want more control in the front and you'll feel it more in the steering wheel and it cost less then the rear.. Im not 100% so don't quote me on this but I think there is already an oem rear swar bar on the 6th gen max's..

Yup, there is an OEM RSB and it's wimpy as hell compared to the Progress. Same goes for the F/R endlinks. Pretzels compared to what Racingline has to offer.

The FSTB is better choice out of the 2. And yea our car has a OEM RSB, but Progress has a RSB and suppose to be thicker and a lot better.

i actually had the same idea...i've had progress springs since about 700 miles and now i'm at about 18000...i love the ride quality...however it was my first time dropping a sedan as big as the maxima...kinda looking for something with a lil less drop. i think about ~0.5" less of a dropp might help with the bottoming out on NYC streets.

buh back to the point...nice drop. looks good buh need more views. do you have the spring rates on them...and load capacity and all the stats on it? compared to the progress? coolmax can you chime in also if you know. thanks.

sorry if you guys think i'm thread stealing i'm just tryin to get all the info i can on these springs.

Spring Rate Front 3.5/196 Rear 5.4/302 Ride Height Front -1.6 Rear -0.5.. I don't know about progress srings rate and height.. Your gonna have to find that information on your own.. Thanks for the compliment..

I had the same questions about spring rate because Tein lists theirs but Progress does not and I cannot find the OEM spring rates either.

I ordered mine a few days ago and can't waint to install it.. There was another forum that I came across about stillen and racing line front struct tower bar. They were saying that the stillen looks better but it hits the bottom of the hood, like it doesn't fit snug. As for the racingline, dosen't look as nice but it fits snug.. I mean if Im gonna buy something I would want it to fit perfectly right..? Makes sense..?

Yo you are a soldier for riding 20 on 35 profile tires in NYC!!! I would be shook and I'm pretty good about avoiding potholes and things. When I lived up there, I rode 40's and that was tough enough trying to avoid potholes.
