Does anyone else experience their gas cap loosening between fillups? Everytime I get gas I notice my gas cap has lossened beyond the point of the first click.

 

I don't think it clicks when you loosen it. So unless you can pull it straight off, what makes you think it's loose?

 

No it doesn't click when unscrewed. The issue seems to be after tightening it to more than 3 clicks it's very loose whenever I attempt to put gas in it the next time. Loose enough that it barely requires turning much before it comes off. Next time I tighten it I'll immediately attempt to take off for a comparison.

 

It clicks off so you don't over tighten it.
If it's holding EVAP pressure (no CEL), it's doing it's job.
