Doors wont unlock

Ok, so when i try to unlock the doors either by remote or by pushing the button on the door, the door unlocks, then locks quickly....it just started doing this last night and i looked the the manual but cant find anything...Am I missing something or is something broken. I never had a problem with my max so far, hence this being my first new post.

how long before the door locks itself again? there is a auto lock feature for the Max where if you unlock the car and don't open the doors for a period of time (which you can define what period of time) it locks itself back...

you know I've had this same problem with my driverside door. As far as time, it's been just about right when I walk up, tried it, push the button again, tried it, and ended up using my key...but it's only random times as well....weird

it locks in under a second. Its like a race against time to try and open the door before it locks again. sooooo annoying.........

probably need to re flash the door logic module. it controls your automatic up and down of the windows and stuff as well.

Same issue.

I have the same exact issue on my 2006 maxima se , just started happening 2 days ago . Its so annoying , when i unlock the car doors it'll relock in less than a second , and occasionally it will also raise the 2 front windows or try to if they are up. Gonna try to take it to my mechanic tomorrow , i'll let you guys know what he finds.

i have a 2007 max sl just like you and had the same problem this past november. my car only has 15k miles on it and i only had it a few months.

long story short, i went to dj at a club, i was forced to valet. i never valet cause i dont like people driving my car. when i got the car back the attendant had already had it started, so i drove home. when i got home i couldnt lock it with the door pad thing or the remote. the doors would lock real quick, then unlock. once i locked it with the key, i couldnt unlock it with the remote. once i got in the car and started driving the next day, the doors would lock by themselves while i was driving. all types of crazy ****. i was pissed. i blaming the motherf*ckers who valeted my car.

i decided to take it to the dealership and just play stupid and tell them that this problem just started happening out of nowhere. it turns out it was some kind of censor that was corroded. i asked them if it was anything that i did, and they said no. so it wasnt the valet's fault. and it was also under the 36k mile warranty so it didnt cost me anything.

if its still happening to you. just take it to the dealer.
