Well, I've got black leather interior and as you can see, it doesn't make it look that much darker. And yeah at night the sunroof shade doesn't let in light but 25% or 35% will look rather dark as well.

yea, my interior is very light (light grey) which will lighten up the tint... but the exterior is dark (black) so that will reflect and darken it.. Im either gonna with 20 or 25% all around. I think that percentage looks the cleanest too..

I had 35% all around on my Sentra Type R
5 & 13% on my G20
I guess 3rd times a charm on the Max

I know PA is really strict on aftermarket tint.Maybe like 20% tint.

I just upgraded my tint. I did have 15% all over and it was nice but i didnt like how u can still see in it at times.

Now i have 15% on front and 5% on the back windows. (tint shop put 50% tint on top of the 15% to make it 5) check out my pics and see what u think.

So this time I was thinking about going with either 5% in the back, 30% on the sides -OR- 20% all around. Any suggestions? My exterior is black, interior grey.

Thanks!

Hey man nice Max. I live in CO also and have you had any issues with tint ? I havent had any issues. I'll roll down the windows if i see em.
I got 15% on the front and just upgraded to 5% on the back. It blends in really nice.
I got pulled over in my old car (02 MAX-5% tint) in the HOV lane on I-25 bcuz the front windshield had 35% smoke tint.
And he gave me a warning for my limo tint i told him the car came with it but got a $60 for the tint on the windshield.

Don't do 5% on the back and 20% on the rest. Keep it ALL the same IMO. Especially if you are having police issues. Legal here is 27%, but even 30% will look darker because of your darker interior color.

Here is the deal, if I had to do it again, I'd go like 70-80% on the windshield. 50% isn't really that bad but at night it can be just a little too dark. During the day it looks like this.

INSIDE: (btw, radar is hardwired now, no coiled cord anymore)

i got 35% all around with blk interior. tinted front windows are illegal here in jersey, but once a cop pulled me over (for speeding ) and he asked me to roll up my window a bit to see how dark the tint was; just gave me a ticket for speeding.

it all depends on the cop.

i am thinking bout going down to 20%. . .

Thanks. I've never had any tint issues but I do like the other guys and roll down the window and keep the sky view sliders open. I usually just roll down the window on the opposite side from the police car. 35% on the windshield? That's why the guy wanted me to do, heck I'd prefer a 70-80% if I can find it. Hit me up in the Regional section: West Coast/Colorado people.

well i think the 20 all around would look the best because personally in my opinion i don't like when there are 2 diff percentages on the windows. Uniformity in the tints would look the best in my opinion.
