I was looking at doing something like this to mine as well...I love the look of the new Audi headlights that look like that.

Where did you get the light strips and are they inside the headlight housing or underneath the light assembly?

hey,
its in between the headlights and the bumper. its tough to put it there,
shave the LEDS a bit in the middle to get it in.

did you have much of a gap between the headlights and bumper before? I just looked at mine and there's litterally only a 1mm gap. Toward the side there is more, at the front a bit less. I have to push down on the bumper with a decent amount of force in order to produce a gap that I can fit even a small LED there.

the thing is , there's not enough gap betweeen the headlight and the bumper. first loosen those 2 bolts that holds the headlight, then in the LED you have to shave the middle part(both sides) be very careful( i bought 4 i damaged 2 of them). after you shave it , when putting it in get a flat screwdriver and tape the tip, and pry the bumper gently to squeeze the LEDS( dont push it to hard, as i said before very sensitive.

ok I see now. When I first looked at mine I was like holy sh*t that's a tight fit! I figured something had to be adjusted...was hoping it wasn't removing the bumper...but then that'd give me an excuse to just remove the whole headlight assembly and give it a good cleaning inside (the projector lenses look cloudy/hazy) and reseal it.

What length flex tube did you get? I see that the 4.7in has a 4 week waiting period. I am thinking about the 9in and then cutting/silicone to the length I need. Also what did you wire them up to? a switch, or the fogs? Thanx in advance.

i ordered the 19 inch and have to cut like 4 inches to have a perfect fit.
i had it hardwire with a switch.
