Got bored.... here's the result

So I was bored with my grill. I had painted it from Chrome to black previously (with the center buck-tooth left as chrome)...however I got to thinking that the black look just kinda cheaped it out a little. So I re-did the grill and here's the end result. I'll be doing the headlights to match the body-color soon and figured this is a good match.

Good eye yep...chevy Venture...and no...unfortunately it hasn't caught fire yet. I wish it would though.

Thanks for the good feedback . I picked up the paint from Autozone - Duplicolor # DSCC331 - Charcoal Grey Metallic. Turns out to be an EXACT match to the "Smoke" color (color code K11) of my car. Already had the primer, so the total cost of the job was some time and $6 for the paint Bought the small can, and have about half left over. So I think 1 can will probably cover both the headlights as well.

It's all one piece.

Just take your time with some newspaper and a roll of tape.

While your there, hit your license plate braket. It adds a nice touch.

here's a follow-up to go with the grill....

I do plan on doing the headlights the same when I get a chance (and more paint )

I like this look a lot better than the plain flat black nissan had there.... makes me wonder why they didn't just paint the whole thing to begin with.

:edit: geez I didn't realize how bad this camera is with outside overcast shots. Wish I had my canon 350 here
