Finally received body kit and finished it in 21 hours =)

Hey guys, just wanted to show you an update of my car. I got my body kit Tuesday at 5:30 and fitted, prepped, masked, painted and installed in 21 hours . It may not be some people's style but I like it. The color was also a litttle off also but it's not too noticeable. I mean, I did do everything myself so I didn't expect a professional job. Let me know what you guys think.

I like the kit, a nice fit with those wheels.

But if I'm being honest, the color match is off enough that you're going to get the raised eyebrow from most that see it.

That's the thing with a kit like this, you want it to look factory installed and painted, what you got is a great looking kit, and a rice paintjob.

Just keepin' it real, yo; I'd repaint it with a closer match.

I like the black and white mixtures on the kit, and the paint - it is noticable but to me I would have to see it in person and its prolly only noticable cuz u mentioned it. Most pics taken never give justice.

Wow, I did not think that the paint was that bad but I guess so. I plan to get it painted right over time, I really wanted to see how the color scheme was gonna turn out. Paint only cost me around $150 so I wasn't too worried about it. I got quoted $700 from a couple of shops for the same color scheme.

Thanks for the compliments.

Congrads bro, definately looks good. MadMax is right, paint is a little, but only noticeable when you stare at it. But anyways, congrads on the kit!

That body kit is real hotttt, great job I love the entire kit. I dont think i would be brave enough to trick my car out that way.

Great DIY job though

Now is this the kit that is trimmed a little shorter to help avoid scraping?

BTW for $150, looks fine. Hard to tell the diff in pics, you shouldn't have said anything and then see who would have noticed.

I was just saying cause I could've given you a better price , its my design after all, I can beat any advertised price just in case anyone else is interested. , since I made the mistake of not paying a little extra money to get the full rights for the kit, now anyone can sell it.

Well we all learn from our mistakes, just make sure to get the rights for the 07-08 lip .

No they're not Unfadablemax's wheels but I did get the idea from him and I love them. As for the rear valence, I think it's just how I angled the camera because it seems straight to me.

Yeah, the front bumper seems to be pretty short compared to everything else. Thanks for the compliment.

I'm pretty sure it is. There were a few areas where it didn't mold right, and it didn't have that crease where the fender goes around the wheel well, but overall it still looked pretty good. You can't really expect too much considering its fiberglass(duraflex).
