Question is why are you pulling the injectors out ? do you have a faulty Injector ?

disconnect the battery.
disconnect the intake pipe from the throttle body
there are 4 bolts that hold the upper manifold , I belive they are 12mm
You need to disconnect the VIAS and a few vaccum hose.

Here is some help
http://www.6thgenmaxima.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5179

After you get the upper manifold off , you will have access to the fuel injector rail.

They are hold in by (4) 10mm bolts ( IIRC )
you must becareful pulling them out not to drop the O-rings down into the Lower manifold and into the head.

Just curious why your changing them unless your upgrading to 440s and up

Fuel Injector replacement

Just replaced my #3 Fuel injector in my 2004 Maxima. Used this post and a post at http://www.greghome.com/Greg's%20Gar...eplacement.htm to do so. Great pics at that post. I decided to remove the wiper blades and cowl to get more room behind the engine. Glad I did.
Before I did this, I was getting Diagnotic Trouble code 1273 with 0300. Had the dealer tell me what was wrong and was told #3 Fuel injector needed to be replaced.
The post linked by nizmo above can also be found at http://forums.maxima.org/6th-generat...emove-uim.html with important info about some procedures that might need to be done after the UIM is removed and put back in.

DTCs that indicate an injector is bad

There is a TSB out for this issue (technical service bulletin) According to the tsb, the injectors will go out of resistance and cause misfire. This may happen to one or more of the injectors. They need to measure the injector resistance and replace them.

MIL ON WITH DTC P0300-P0306, P1273 OR P1283 NTB04-090 7/30/2004 120 KB

2004 MAXIMA, QUEST, ALTIMA, 2005 ALTIMA; MIL "ON" WITH

P1273, P1283 (A/F ratio lean).
ACTION:

Injector resistance may cause one or more of the above listed DTC's to be set.

Check the resistance of the injectors against the values in this bulletin.
NOTE: Incident injectors will have resistance values:
