Just Ordered Nismo sway bars

Hey guys, I rarely post on here anymore, but I have a 07 Maxima SE and I just ordered the Nismo front and rear sway bars from a local dealership and after reading more and more about the installation of the front sway bar I am thinking of selling it seperately and keeping the rear sway bar. I have a friend who has a shop and i am going to see if he is able to install it, and I will be checking with other garages on how much it would cost to install and weather it is worth it or not. Dropping the sub frame sounds scary to me. I've installed a rear sway bar on my 2001 Infiniti so i'm not worried about the rear, but I don't have all the tools to do the front. If i sell the front Nismo sway bar is anyone here interested in buying it from me? I'm in Jacksonville, AR. Please pm me.

On a side note for anyone thinking about upgrading their foglights to HID's, I highly recommend upgrading your foglights. I bought 2 pairs (one for the max and one for the Infiniti) of DDM tuning HID's 6000k 55w for 85 dollars and I love them.

Thanks Guys.

you acutally can get away with lowering it a few inchs if you have a shop hoist , and wiggle it out.

you dont totally need to drop the subframe.

I have the nismo bars but my buddy may take the front if your selling it depending how much your asking.

PM me

If at all possible don't sell your front Nisma bar. I have the Nismo sway bars on my '07 and they are worth the money and effort to install the pair. Installing the front bar is no where as easy as the rear one, and it may take around 3 hours of work (as mine did), but it can be done and the results are worth the effort.

Mannn... I hope you change your mind and keep the front
Nismo Front Sway bar. I currently have the S-Tune Nismo
Sway bars on my ride ride. What a extremely great upgrade
from O.E.M. The installation isn't as difficult as you think. I
actually performed this upgrade in the garage with regular
hand held tools after my compressor went out on me. Along
with a good pry bar to slightly lower the rear sub frame.
It's really not hard!

Hey guys its been a while but i'll give an update. I installed the rear by myself in my driveway without too many problems. I have a mechanic that works at a local dealer that is going to do the install the front at the garage during off hours for me. I also ordered the racingline ftsb. So far i love the feel of the rear sway bar, and i look forward to the front sway bar getting put in and the ftsb. Thanks for all your help guys. Take care.

Did the Nismo sway bars come with polyurethane bushings? I believe the progress rear sway does.

It came with bushings. It was the same kind that came off the car. I dont know what polyurethane ones are though, sorry. But it's the exact same as the stock ones. And it comes with the front and rear set.
