Illuminated Door Sills

After months of trial and error I finally succeded in creating my own sills. Now these are not completely finished as evident by the clamps but I got so excited I had to share with my fellow 6th geners. Let me know what you think. I would also appreciate input on how I should wire them.

Is it a seperate 12v kit for each door sill? I was going to say its like wiring a radar detector but you have more than one positive/negative wire to work with. Splice into the interior brightness control behind the dash. Find the positive and negative wire and splice into it. The worse that can happen is a blown fuse or relay. I did this in my old car for a neon light and it worked. The brightness was set with the stock interior light.
