Quick question about the stock headlights. My wife and I bought our cars at the same time. I got a 2007 Maxima SE, and she got a 2007 Altima SL. My Maxima came with the HID headlights obviously, however, her car came with the standard headlights.

I'm wondering if I can purchase HID headlamps (not just the bulbs) and they are plug and play with the stock harness? I know my Porsche was just this simple. I didn't need to replace the ballast harness or anything. Just bought new headlamps and voila! piece of cake. Is there an option like this for the 2007 Altima? The HIDs just seem to improve night time driving 10 fold. Just curious. Thanks

 

Sure, Altima HID headlamp assemblies are plug and play, just like the Maxima. Just get some good used ones and install them.
