new MAF sensor = increased mpg

so i had an intermittent hard start problem and even more intermittent check engine light. i had also noticed that my fuel mileage had dropped a bit as well.

anyway- i installed a new MAF sensor, cleared the code/CEL and havent had a start problem/CEL since.

however, after two full tanks of gas, i noticed that ive traveled AT LEAST 40 more miles per tank... and ive been refueling at about the 1/8th mark- no low fuel light.

not saying that this is will increase MPG for anyone, but obviously mine was out of whack enough in affect my mileage.

Considering the MAF's function, it makes total sense.

www.my350z.com probably has a few FS for a good price.
