What offset for wheels on maxima will get it flush with the body?
Hello,
Im looking to get the MRR HR2 wheels in 19"s, using 245/40 19 size tires.
Does anyone know what offset i need to get them flush with the body?
45 and 35mm are the offset they are offered in.
Currently i have the eibach springs, i dont think i will run into any issues, but could someone chime in on this?
Also does anyone have any pics of these wheels on a maxima or opinions of these wheels or company?

They will end up almost flush wich is perfect. That last 5mm or so outward would lessen your cars handling. Remember, low offsets are tougher on your suspension. CV joints tend to go first.
The website "elementwheels" has tons of pictures of that wheel on different cars. Find one similar to the Maxima.

8.5j +35 is far from flush because I thought there are 6th gen people who fit 10j with mid 40s offset and they look fine. Dont underestimate how much offset 6th gen can take, look at the person who threw the R35 wheels on

I would agree that the size width is very important in this case.
Because I've had several sets of 22x8 and 22x8.5 inch wheels
with +38 offset and lower. I eventually went with 20x10's all
around with a +40 offset. The tires are Falken 452s 275/30/20
all around as well. This week I'm switching over to 285/30/20 tires.
I've seen a few max owners who had 20x10.5 width in the rear with
+35 offset. That's aggressive, depending on how low you drop your
ride. If you have good coilovers and just want to drop the quarter
panel or wheel well edge slightly above the tire. Then an aggressive
offset in the rear is fine. One thing I would have to say about wider
rims and tires is that it feels great but you definitely have to have a
great suspension set-up and good alignment. +35 > +42 looks real nice.

Right now i have the KYB GR2's Shocks and Struts with Eibach springs.
Does anyone see any issues if i went with this wheel in 19"s, +35 offset, and 8.5 width tires?
Also, besides Wolf, anyone have opinions or pics of this wheel on a lowered Maxima.

They won't be flush, but will be close giving a little room for lowered cars without rubbing.

They're not the same rims, but this chics rims look somewhat similar. You can get an idea of what they look like on a car. She has 20" TSW Vortex rims

I have 20 inch axis rims, which are 9 inches wide and have a +35 offset. I'm dropped on Tein springs and kybs with no issues. It sits pretty flush and not too aggressive on 245/35/20 size tires. If your rim is 8.5 inches wide, I don't see you having any issues even with a 255 tire. Like KC was saying, check out the wheel section. There are a million comparisons and calculators. You could probably find this info without even having to go to the calculators at all. Although, I would check them just so you understand what your comparing when you are looking at different wheels, tires, drops, and offsets. All of this plays a part.

But ride quality is an important factor for me, I'm actually making a compromise by going 19"s - i'd prefer to stay with 18"s but would like to go a little bigger.
From what ive seen online, the tire prices for 19"s arent that much more than the price for 18" tires. Are 20" tires less expensive than 19"s?

Since ride quality is your issue, stick with 18's. I'm saying this because I have driven on 40 and 35 profile tires on a few different cars including the max. To be honest with you, I don't feel a difference between the two profiles. They will both be rougher than what you're used to feeling. Why go with a rougher ride without getting the look of 20s? On 19s, with a 40 profile tire, you will still have a rough ride. Good luck, check wheel section and you will get tons of info too.

tried that, only cracked the paint
Added stiffer shocks, springs are fine. Sway bar is upgraded along with endlinks and are fine. Tires are stock size for +2 fitment. Width does not matter if you make the wheel flush but they are the correct size as well.
It is the fact that at our height there is barely an inch above the tire. Any weight in the back or uneven pavement while turning the rear compresses that 1 inch and rubs.
Just to let anyone else know that if they want the flush look, get super stiff coilovers or you will rub.

This question is also dependent on wheel width. You should get the 8.5" width in the +35mm offset. Simply the perfect offset for your vehicle. Aggressive but not too aggressive.
They will end up almost flush wich is perfect. That last 5mm or so outward would lessen your cars handling. Remember, low offsets are tougher on your suspension. CV joints tend to go first.
