Greymax wins Best Nissan at Toys for Tots Meet

My buddy Greymax won Best Nissan at the Toys for Tots Meet last November and FINALLY got his well-deserved trophy. This was a special award as it was chosen by Nissan Sport Magazine. The editor Dave Ochenrider chose the award himself based on the nicest Nissan in the event. It wasnt the Nissan with the most stuff on it but the best overall presentation There was some incredible competition too I saw perhaps the cleanest Z I have ever seen there. But Bob beat em all. Here is his trophy:

Here is his car:

Congratulations and way to represent 6th Gen Maximas in beating all Nissans in the entire event.

Congrats! I didn't know he did all that to his max. The last thing I saw his max on here was when he added the LED tails around April 08. That max looks clean!

Does the dynomat make things quieter? I have carpet padding in trunk and under rear seat and seems to help.

Very nice max.., Looks like you had the front after-market bumper slightly modified...Where did you get the rear bumper? Also are you mirrors still motorized? I noticed the LEDs in the mirrors. I like your spoiler...is that a 08? Plus did you have any defects with those tail lights? I'm thinking of getting a set.

Once again congratulations! Way to represent! Making the 6th Gen's proud!

I can probably answer most of those questions since I asked the same ones at the meet. The front appears to be an unmodified RLM bumper. The rear bumper is a modified GTR bumper. It can be ordered through Max2daMax (Edgar of EX Concepts). The exhaust openings were customized, the rear valence between the exhaust was modified, and the middle area was painted flat I believe. The mirrors are OEM 07 Maxima mirrors with LEDs added. It is motorized I believe. Spoiler is stock 07 spoiler? I think his tails worked fine, like mine.

correct mark. front bumper just needed shaving alittle, but since the meet i have shaved it so as to come straight across. edgars gtr bumper, thanks buddy, middle section on rear is gunmetal , oem 07 mirrors with custom led lights that work perfect and yes fully functional. edgar came through with the tails and thanks to j for the use of his driveway and no problem except what to get smoke or black, went with present org'ers concensus and went with smoke. thanks guys

Bob, I just realized that you have an 07 but you have the 04-06 RLM copy front bumper. How did they get it to fit?

good body guy. took some time to form up buy the headlights and being picky, i was there every other day to point out areas i want to lines to blend in. i also did the picky business with the rear bumper. hell, i'm paying for what i get. they also did the mirrors. really wasnt that much difference, but did have to come up with a grille for it, which i drew up at home.

Nice, I like the look. What is the width on your rims though? How does it ride, probably a little softer with the extra rubber.
