Near the bottom. Nice way to shave more than a few lbs each off the front. Doing this with wheels would be expensive.

haha. I don't think my brackets work on 6th gens. Wrong dimensions. BUT with enough interest, Automax can get some 2pc rotors for your existing units. Hell the diff inbetween 13" and your stock 12.6" is 0.4".

I want 2 piece rotors but I have 300zx calipers. Not sure the cobra rotors would fit.

NO! Automax was considering making a set of 6th gen oem 12.6" rotors in 2pc. Down at the end of the thread I posted

Really ? Does your bracket fit the 240sx ? Cause my buddy purchase Z1 brackets and 13 rotors for his TTZ ,

I swore they all fit the same ? if my regular brackets could fit the 240sx ? should your 13 inch bracket fit as well ?

I might have to get them just to try them out then as soon as I get my car back from the shop.

fit? yes. Fit well? no. Due to the slight dimensional differences inbetween the rwd/fwd of the past maximas, bbk brackets won't work. It's why we need to shave our rotors when doing a straight 300z/300z rotor swap on 3gens/4gens/5gens. It's that dimensional diff. So when I made my brackets, I had to compensate for that difference. So maxima brackets won't fit on a 240z. The caliper will probably have a ton pad overhang on the 240sx.

sell them by telling why people should want them...

exact weight saving equaling est HP, etc, whatever.

$$ savings just replacing the one piece.

whatever else?

I'm interested, I have powder-coated slotted rotors from AutoMax on right now. Edjumacte us on why these are worth it

Not that anyone really cares: It's from the G forum but he might as well be talking about the 6th gen's 12.6 rotors as they are the same as the G/Z 12.6" rotors.

We later found out other than the dimension difference, the pad height is not the same either, while our rotor ring surface (where pad sweeps), is cut to fit the pad height (rest of area is coated with EDP to prevent rusting), so a new disc is designed, and a pre-order sales price will be offered.
