Finally got time to do my grille..thoughts

I finally got some time to paint my grille. I am pretty happy with the outcome, still need to fill in the NISSAN though. And wash er.

Thoughts?

How?

What paint and procedure did you use? I want to do this also but I'm scared...was it hard to do? I think it looks great, good job!

looks good, but i sorta think if u got rid of shininess it might look little better.... or at least black out a circle on the Nissan and keep the Nissan word shiny. gives it a new twist with just rectangular Nissan logo. But just a personal opinion... not saying its right or wrong not hating whatsoever)

i Blacked out my entire grill and get compliments on it all the time. If you're crazy about the chrome trim, keep it. Personally I like the allllllllll Black.

i removed the grille cleaned it and removed the dark film with a razor. I wiped it down with paint prep wipes and then maked off the trim. (3M tape the thin type (Green)). A few coats of automotive black paint (areosol) and 3 clearcoats with the clearcoat paint from Canadian Tire (pep boys in the states).
