04-06 led mod!! i can do it as well!!( update 7/30/09) pics

i tried to wait until everything was complete but atleast i can show what i have done up until this point. i did everything in white but figured i would like the blue better with a little bit of white. so the blue leds for the doors and info screen has not come in yet plus i recieved a bad batch of white leds used for the info screen which is the reason you wont see it lighted in the pics and the ones ordered in blue are still stuck in U.S customs. anyway the pics are up and atleast we have another member who can do the mod. Enjoy

Unless you are really good with soldering I would have one of these guys do it, not sure if you guys know but there's around 300-400 tiny bulbs that need to be replaced one by one. I took this pic awhile back to show how small they are...see where they say "LED"

That's the AC control panel BTW....

i really dont need the money or aggravation plus i think its wrong to charge people $450 to $500 for work that only cost less than a $100 in leds. thats the only reason im offering the mod for a cheap price. i could even be a dix a post a step by step with pictures and the links on where to get every led from with the led types plus on how to mod the rears with 1/2 watt 470 ohm resistors. i say let sleeping dogs sleep

Very nice mod. If someone wants to share it for free, great. If you decide to charge people a fee to do it, still ok too. Some people might mess-up their car trying that. So, convenient for some to get the help and of course, compensate for the installer's time and CARE with your vehicle. For if something is messed up, he would be blamed!
