This is a CVT, not a 7 speed. Not sure how you came up with a 7spd CVT. They only compare the ratio of the CVT to that of a 7spd ONCE...

lol anyone who knows anything about a cvt knows there are no gears, currently they only offer a 5speed cvt or 5 gear ratio equivalence. duh

You meant a 6 gear ratio equivalence while in its "manual" mode.....Right?

Yes... I think he meant 6 because in manual mode... The electronic "gearing" does allow you to switch into a 6th "gear"... I do enjoy dropping down to 4th and 3rd though it really makes the Fujita scream....

I never mess with my manual mode- I've read a lot about that possibly being the potential cause of many tranny issues and problems in our max's. Hopefully it was BS........

It is BS. Poor design of the valvebody, internal clutches wear easy, Torque converter needs swapping out with stronger one. Not to mention the learning feature to adjust to your type of driving sux. Ohh can't forget Motor mounts breaking causing more stress on the tranny. The fluid needs changed out about every 30k due to excessive heat issues.
