Anyone change the 07-08 Wing brake lights?

i dont know if my lights in my wing are dead or a wire is loose...

i had a local mechanic do the job and it worked for awhile until one day i noticed they did not work anymore.

Can someone tell me if the bulbs are easy to replace?

Now you should unscrew the light on both side by removing the caps. Once the screws are off, hold the light in your hand. There is a white connector that you can easily unplug. It might be a loose connection. Those led spoiler lights usually don't blow out. The worse case is the wiring thru out the spoiler into the trunk is bad. Then you need a mechanic to remove the spoiler and fish out the wire.

What did the mechanic do ?

If the leds blew out then...... You need to buy a new spoiler light. The factory 07-08 light replacement will cost you around $80 and the aftermarket around $45. The factory leds are better and brighter. http://www.6thgenmaxima.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=8598
