Question about size rims
Alright right now i have 20" rims on my max but saw a great deal on craigslist for a set of 22" rims. To the people who are riding on 22's how is the ride and is your max your daily driver? Do you all travel alot as well. I ask this because of course this is my daily driver and i travel around alot. I want to hear the pros and cons. if you were wondering what the rims look like here is the craigslist add.

THE RIMS WILL DEFINATLEY FIT IM JUST QUESTIONING WHETHER I SHOULD GET 22" RIMS FOR MY DAILY DRIVER AND WHAT I WOULD BE GIVVING UP AS FAR AS PERFORMANCE. I ALREADY HAVE 20" RIMS ON MY CAR.

The seller doesn't provide specific dimensions/specs on the wheels. Are you sure they're even the right bolt spacing? Width, offset? How do you know they "definitely fit" BTW, CAPS LOCK is not necessary.
Assuming they're 8" wide, you'd have to run a 245/25-22 or similar tire size to maintain near-stock diameter (unless you want the 4x4 look), which would be a huge con for driving comfort, rim edge protection on road imperfections, etc. That's enough deterrent for me right there. Performance? More rotational mass = slower acceleration.
I can't think of a single "pro" except for maybe the 20"+ status that your ego and those of 16 year old kids might appreciate...

not bad for rims and tires. I would ask questions like mentioned above. offset, rim size, bolt pattern, Tread left on tires, how the other 3 look, why so cheap, are they stolen, etc. big purchase think long and hard before doin it. 22's will fit if you want them to. there are vids of a 6th gen maxima on 26's. As for performance loss, answer is obvious. Bigger rims=more wieght=more power needed to move them.

I have 22's on mine...check my pics. It is used as my daily driver only about 100-150 miles a day. Mine are 22x8 on a Toyo 235/30/22 and they barely barely rub only when u turn the steering wheel all the way to one side...any bigger tire and you will have problems. Others may disagree bc it isnt their style, but I think it looks great how it fills the wheel well. Downsides: Acceleration, braking and constantly worrying about potholes or large bumps bc the tires are rubberbands. Surprisingly the ride is still about as smooth as the stock ride was. If the tires posted on craigslist arent this size I wouldnt spend the money on the set. New tires will cost btwn 800-1000. I got my wheels and tires mounted and balanced shipped to my door with locking lugs and hub rings for $1299 from a seller on ebay (silverwheellady). So if those tires arent the right size I would check silverwheellady out...I was very pleased with the service Terri gave me from there. Good luck

Sorry about the caps lock. The reason i said i no they would fit is because i called the gentleman and talked to him. and he said they were 5x114.3 with a 35+ offset. But i guess he could be not telling the truth. I will definately put the rims on and drive them before giving him any money. I am leaning on not getting the rims because of convenience of getting the tires when i need one. I pick up my daughter every other weekend from 6 hours away and would hate to have a blow out and not be able to find 22" tires. As i see it now the cons out weigh the pros.
