Clutch Replacement - Most Economical?

Looks like its time to replace my clutch. Could someone recommend a good (not a wallet buster) aftermarket clutch?

Thanks in advance

Clutch replacement

I don't know about economical, but I went with a Spec Stage 1 Clutch. Cost about $420
While I was replacing the clutch I also replaced the Flywheel and went aluminum, also Spec.

How much does your flywheel weigh and how does the car drive after the install? Does it have more power?

To be honest, I don't know the exact weight of the flywheel, but now that I looked up the shipping weight it read: 30lbs.
It definitely took some getting used to the lightened flywheel, however. At first I hated it. I felt like I was a rookie learning how to drive manual all over again. Kinda embarrassing feeling the car jolt.
Anyways, in order for me to get out of first gear I have to give a lil more gas than usual, (I guess to get the momentum of the flywheel going).
Once I'm on the open road/highway the car accelerates noticeably faster. Pretty cool feeling.
Also, when the car is idle the sound of the flywheel is pretty obvious.
A friend of mine says, "That's what a tuner car is supposed to feel like"

If you have the stock flywheel, can u wigh it? I would think the aluminum one would be around 13-15 lbs, not 30 lbs. How is the car sounding different at idle. Also, when you rev it up at idle, does it rev up and down faster?

Sorry bro, but I don't have the stock flywheel anymore to weigh it.
Kinda sounds like a bike chain turning but not an overly loud sound. You have to pay attention to it.
And yeah, it does rev up and down faster.

Ok, so I decided to go with a Stage 7 clutch .. Seriuosly, I opted for the factory replacement kit for $179. Looks like the labor is going to be $350. Anybody in or around Atlanta want to tackle this job??

I have a question? I have a 2006 maxima and I need a new clutch. what is the best clutch for me that will grab nicely but still be a comfortable ride. (want it for more speed) I dont want it to be too cheap but it cant be to expensive. but feel free to give me your opinion on anything. Also should I get a stage 1 or stage 2?

the faster and smoother the clutch grabs makes the car have a little bit more "get up and go" power, which results in a little more speed.

O.K., but why would a lighter flywheel be "faster and smoother?"

exedy replacement OEM or exedy stage 1, has a bigger disk than the oem.

But if money is no object and I was going to do it all over again I would get a bully stage one dual friction. I know a few people who have this clutch and they love it.
