Elite Maxima... WHOA.

So I'm thinking of turning my Max into the Elite version with the seats and the works. I was looking on Ebay for captain seats, the rear sunshade and the center console with all heating elements. Anyway, came across this max that is the Elite version and kind of turned me off!! What do you guys think of this??

Really, what things should I be wary of? Did you do the entire interior swap and is everything still working out for your buddy??

Yeah he had cloth and only power driver seats, now he has full leather, power driver and passenger along with heated front and rear...we had to bypass the memory seat function to get it to work, unless you already have it

Yup, thats GECs.

Its not that bad of a swap, electronics kinda sucks to match up but with patience its not a problem. Just make sure your getting all pieces off of ebay when they part these out. Otherwise you'll be fabricating what is missing like myself.
I'm happy with what has been finished so far, I only paid $500 including the shipping.

that's definitely a show car, the only thing that stood out to me was the trunk the way the Eclipse subs were mounted. The screens should have definitely been in the head rests, and the screens really were not optimally located. The Visor screen for the drivers side makes somewhat sense, but the other 2 bottom ones? right in front of the shifter didn't. Anyone know how or where to get the roll-down sunshade for cheap? the last time I looked at getting the rolldown sunshade it cost an arm and a leg to have the factory parts to do it. Should be fairly a simple install, just need the switch in the front, and back and get the motor and shade roll?

that car was done up back in 2004 and appeared in DUB magazine. He was really proud of this thing when he was working on it. Wonder why he's getting rid of it?

Well I'm planning on getting it from a company online but I didnt think about inquiring about all the pieces. Basically all that I would need are the seats, console, and heating switches right? Everything else should already be in the car? In their ad, it only stated that I would get the seats (front and back set) and the front and rear console. They don't come with memory but they are heated and I'm not sure if those switches and things come with it but I will inquire about that. The seats and console are black so I guess I will be having a two-tone interior. On a scale of 1 to 10, though, how difficult is this if you are basically a novice to wiring and such???

From what I remember on the parts (did this last winter), there are plastic trim pieces that go between each seat and the door jam. There is a mounting bracket for the backrests of the rear seats. And the piece that goes between the 2 backrests. These are the items that I didn't receive.

Wiring is not plug and play. Gonna take a lot of testing and patience.

Totally overboard with all the video screens, but the split rear seat with the full length center console is HAWT.

I'm stressing about this and I haven't even started. After speaking with the guy thats selling the set, the seats are heated and there are switches, but I should be able to wire them to something in my car to work?? Hopefully! Maxx.... about how long did this take you to do??? A day? 2 days?

I would say give yourself the entire weekend. I took my time doing it while I had my car in storage last winter so its hard to say how long it actually took. I still am not finished with final touches for the missing trim parts.
