CAI Question

Does anyone who has a CAI have before and after audio clips or videos of the sound? I know most people claim that there is a change in sound, but it's hard to distinguish when comparing my stock sound to a youtube video. I was thinking if the stock and CAI sounds were recorded from the same video camera then I could determine the real difference. Can anyone help me out? Thank you!

With the fujita CAI, normal driving there is not much of a difference in sound. But at WOT once the RPM hit 3k its a lil louder then when it hits 5k its much louder.
Not my video. But when in manual my car sounds exactly like it does in this video.

I'd say after 2.5-3k RPM, you will easily hear any of the intakes available for the car... slight differences between brands, but pretty much the same.

Here's my car with the Fujita (no longer installed):

And with the R2c prototype:

Never did a stock dyno, sorry.

I don't have that high pitched rattling sound you can barely hear in the background anymore... I changed up my exhaust a bit.

But the intake still sounds the same.

I just got an 05 6-speed and put a fujita intake on it last week. Normal driving it's hard to notice any difference in sound at all. If you floor it at low RPM's it makes a deep growling sound and once you get close to redline it's loud as hell! I've had several cars and heard many others with intakes and this is by far the best/meanest sounding one I've ever heard. I love it!

You can't be serious with a post like this. Just buy the CAI and install it. I don't think there is one person on this forum who installed CAI and removed it because of noise. The sound is addictive like crack.
