Autofolding mirrors?

I have the motorized folding mirrors.... just wondering if there is a way to make them automatically fold in when I shut the car off.

Haven't checked the manual yet, just wondering?

I'm sure a car electrician guy could. I know you would have to tap into the Cig lighter or ignition to have it do that but don't know the rest.

you should be able to tigger it with the door light! I would thing if you run a module that taps into the door light you should be fine

no, I'm thinkin that it would have to see an ignition source.

So when the car is on they stay open, when car is off they shut.

But I'd rather not have to mess with wiring, just be cool if it already worked that way.

Yes its pretty simple for someone that knows 12 volt electronics. All you need is a relay source that once the ign is turn off it trips the circuit that folds the mirrors. I'm in Phx,AZ and be doing mobile electronics for over 7 yrs if anyone wants help getting this done.

You can have the right or left mirror tilt down as you reverse. You just have to turn the switch on to the left or right, which ever mirror you want to move.

I am just sick of coming out to my car and seeing that one of the mirrors is pushed in from some jag probably walking by my car and not paying attention.

I'll try hooking up some relays and let u guys know how it comes.

Kptechnologies has this module but not the folding one. As for the mirror tilt, I believe as BOOTZ said this feature is on the 06 and up (need confirmation)
