i need help, i purchased a front bumper from www.bodykits.org about two weeks ago and still have not recieved the item. I tried calling them but their numbers are not working anymore and they have not been responding thru emails.
Has anyone purchased from these people before and how was your experience?

How much did you spend? My suggestion is don't wait 30 days. They have to provide your credit card with contact info/email and a working phone number. Call your credit card and cancel the charge. Have them investigate. If they don't get a response then you'll get your money back. When there is a problem with funds is when "bodykits.org" will finally call you over and over and over.

You have to find out if the item was in stock. Sometimes the shipping times are different from when they "Ship Out". They might pack it when they feel like it.

dealt with them a few years back when I bought my RLM bumper. Took a month and constant calling before I got the bumper.

that's where I got my front bumper from and it took about 4 days after payment to get to Hawaii. I did pay like 400 in shipping though. They were pretty cool to deal with, however the bumper was in need of alot of work when I got it. Not smooth by any means and had some paint splatter on it from another project or something. Not sure what happened never really complained just because shipping and hassel of getting a better one would have been rediculous. I would call the Creditcard company before it's too late.

good luck
Private Registration means you have nobody to go after and they did that for a reson.

I'd immediatelly call your credit card company and dispute the charges if they are on there. Don't even wait for your statement but call now.

Nice. You would think they would have something on their site or answering machines to mention that, though.....

well, here's an update...
the bumper arrived about a week ago via SAIA freight which i had to pay $80 shipping...
car and bumper was left with friends bodyshop in san jose... original estimate was two days which includes removing, installing, prep and painting bumper and hood...
I get a call from my friend advising that when the bumper was removed from the box, it had alot of stress cracks on the fiberglass, the lines does not match with the car and tons of holes from the fiberglass molding...
conclusion, my friend said either i send the bumper back and probably get nothing, or he could fix the bumper and add two days work and addition $100..
im pretty confident my friend will do a great job but i would never do business with bodykits.org ever!
