How to tell if 07 Max has Sat Radio
Is there a way to tell by the pictures? WHen I got my 06, I looked for the SAT button. But I don't think they have that on the 06. Will any 07 be compatible with an aftermarket XM kit?

From what I've read (and others, please correct me if I'm wrong) both the Bose with and without navigation have sat radio capabilities. The basic non-Bose head unit does not. The navigation units have a "SAT" button; the non-nav units can select sat radio by hitting the "RADIO" button to cycle between sat and AM/FM.
If you have a sat radio-capable head unit, then you need to make sure you have an XM or Sirius receiver in the trunk. You can purchase one online from places like Courtesy Parts:

I have a non-Bose unit so I use an aftermarket XM receiver (Delphi SKYFi2). It lives in my center console using the power outlet in the floor of the console, and I have the audio going from the unit to the AUX jack on the head unit. Not my ideal setup but it gets the job done for now.

XM Tuner Questions
Sorry to hijack this thread but I wanted to post my question in the most relevant thread. I just purchased the Nissan XM Tuner but had a question regarding install.
I know the far left input is for the N-Bus connector and the pink connector is for the antenna but what is the inside connection for? Is it for an input for Ipod? I have only one N-Bus connector in the trunk.
Thanks
Chris
