alternator replacement

My alternator is talking a dump at 54k. I have a 2007 and was wondering if its pretty straight foward. I have done an AC compresor swap on my 5th gen and seems to be the same idea except I don't have to unplug any hoses. Let me know what I can look foward too and any tips. I searched "alternator" and got two hits for the 6th gen forum.

I found the FSM on nico club I think. Its helped out a lot. I am having issues removing the idler pulley though. The nut is pretty tough.

yea its done. Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Removing the bolt that is on the lower part of the alternator sucked but what was worse was putting it back in. The bolt is about 8 inches long and it has to go in from the inside and the nut that holds it is right under the pulley.

I did have to remove the radiator and was lucky enough to have enough play in the cvt hose lines so that I didn't have to disconnect those from the radiator. The battery tray must be taken out so you have clearance to move the radiator.
