OEM Wheels

Hey guys, im in the process of shopping for rims. Ideally i want OEM Nissan or Infiniti. Currently im dropped on Progress with GR-2's and 15mm spacers on the OEM 18" rims.

I am trying to figure out what options are available such as offset(s) for the wheels. The maxima ones are +45 (i believe). With that, my rear rubs just a tad when i hit bumps.

One option is the 350z one that looks like the maxima ones. those are 18x8.5 (dunno the offset). with that, im thinking of running running 275-40-R18 tires all around.

Im also trying to find a deal for the 350z nismo bronze rims. i believe those are 18x8.5 (dunno the offset)

if i eliminate the spacers, run 275-40-R18 ?

Open for ideas.

Would you be open to trimming the rear fender liner? I have 20x8.5" +42 wheels with 245/35 tires, 15mm spacers, and dropped on KYB/Progress. After I trimmed the fender liner, no more rubbing. The stock wheels (18x8" +40) with stock tires sit a little further in the wheel well, so I have absolutely no rubbing with those either, even with a full car.

I've got some 350z version 1 track wheels if you are interested. They are 18x 8/18x8.5. PM me for more details.

joecurr - i have considered that. only thing i worry is that wouldnt it lessen the structural integrity of the rear qtr panel? would you have any pix btw?

garagelu - im looking for a set of 4 of the same so i can rotate them

KCmaxx - that is my intention if i can get an oem wheel with a 30+ offset or so. if i take them out now, they look too into the wheel well. for the most part, im fine while driving, just some areas i drive more carefully but at times cant be helped. im going for that flush fender look. 15mm is pretty perfect imo for my current setup. i wanted to put 10mm in the rear but i didnt want to have to put new studs in.

reference to type of spacer:

The fender liner I'm talking about is the "carpeted" liner inside of the rear wheel wells. If you look inside the wheel wells, the part of the liner that covers the rear bumper mount protrudes a fair amount (where the rear bumper meets the rear fender). This is where you are more than likely rubbing, not on the actual fender like most people think. What I did was cut the liner that covers the bumper mount, and shaved the tab the bumper mounts to a tad as well. Sorry I don't have any pics, and without a jack right now, it'd be hard to access.
