There are plenty of threads on this topic. Progress have a better drop but many have said it has a rough ride while Eibachs have a nice stance as well but some experience knocking noises probably from improperly installing the springs. I personally went with Teins but wont install them until this weekend

They are both well known but from the reviews I've read, eibach is what I will go with.

Nyana, I was wondering when you were going to install them. I knew you'd like them on the smooth roads of Texas. The pics look good.

My car handles so nice on Progress that people who ride in it never say anything about harshness. unless you are the Princess and the pea, you aint gonna feel much difference with any lowering springs. Love my stance and have got many comments from other that were all positive. Good luck with your purchase.

I decided ill go with progress spring with Kyb gr2. Will do I need progress camber aligment kit n rear progress anti-body roll kit? I may be buying everything from progress site if there give me good deal on everything that made for our car.

You're welcome. I'm glad that the springs are being put to good use. I loved the way the Max handles with them but these Cleveland streets are brutal. Highway driving was great but the secondary roads sucked. Your white Max looks great.

yeah i love how the car feels now. i must admit though that the ride can be a bit harsh on bad roads. but on freeway and general driving around town, the car feels great.

$1050?? Thats a lot of money for springs. You can buy coilovers that are adjustable to give you a custom spring rate.

i dont know people. i really cant rate the progress spring right now because i think i need struts and shocks but when i put the 22's on i rubbed everywhere now that im stock with the progress springs it feels worse than when i had the 22's on. right now they suck if the gr2's still make the car ride the same im gonna go with teins so i dont rub and for a better comfort

I just got Progress springs installed with the KYB GR2's all around - definitely a noticeably firmer ride, but not too harsh. Here in CO there are alot of crappy roads, so prob a little different that other states. I will say IMO the ride height is just perfect - no more monster front gap and tightened up the rear just right...

I ordered eibachs and kybs then changed my mind and read the forums to try and find the smoothest drop. I went with teins and monroes, and its still a little harsh at times. I think my wheels are not correctly balanced cause it feels wobbly at slow speeds and has vibration at higher speeds. If balancing doesn't work im gonna have my alignment checked again. Then I don't know if I should try and return the monroes (they have 90-day satisfaction guarantee) and ride on my OEM shocks/struts they have 70k on them so i don't know how long they will last. I just need them to last for about 2 years or 30k miles. I like the drop otherwise, cornering is smooth and flat, and have no problems with big speed bumps, and like the less wheel gap.

I got Eibach and KYB, rides great, takes few weeks for the entire suspension to settle but once it does, it looks great and rides superb.

I would go with the Eibach springs but probably better with stock rims progess would be good they drop a little more lower than the Eibach
